I miss General Forum.

Maybe I didn't interact, comment or post as much as I wanted to in them because I'm too shy (And my English is not good at all. My mother tongue is Spanish and I have a hard time writing and speaking in English, but I try :'D), but I really like reading the threads, the discussions and the community that is created in them...

Really, I feel that something is missing on this page since the General Forum died.

I don't want to be misunderstood. I still love Newgrounds, I still love coming to see, play and listen to everything that is uploaded here. I don't think the death of the General Forum will kill Newgrounds or anything. Newgrounds is still my favorite site on the internet. But I feel like something is wrong...

IDK. I know Tom and the Newgrounds team had their reasons for closing it, and I respect that very much. They just want to do what's best for NG and I understand that.

Maybe is just me.

Maybe I'm just Abraham Simpson, screaming to a cloud...

That's all... I just miss General Forum a lot.

I know the Supporter Forum is basically "General 2". For the moment I can't afford to pay the Supporter Upgrade, but someday I'm gonna do again :'D

I agree with @xeiavica and @aalasteir when it comes to supporter forum. I was there for two months and the vibe is very similar. Never had good laughs in ages when visiting and interacting with it XD

I met Newgrounds when I was 9 years old or something like that in 2009 or 2010. I was looking for games on google. Some of the sites I used to use took and stole NG games and had the Preloaders with Tankman, Madness Day or something NG related, so.... One day I clicked and got here. That's when I understand that all the flash games and animations I loved are from here, and the love was born. I started looking for Sonic and Mario games (again, I was 9 years old, don't judge me so much xD) but, eventually I saw references to the original characters, memes and content, Bitey from Brackenwood in Sonic Shorts 4 or the Dancing Bannana in Super Mario Bros Z for example, so I started watching and playing the classic flash content, and I just loved it.

In fact, as a fun fact, this account is not my first account. I had another account called “Zyo123” (because I'm super original) a long time ago, but I deleted it because I'm an idiot xD
That's the summary of how I got here I how the love of this site and its content, creators and art was born :'D
